Alan Ridgewood

Alan Ridgewood was born on May 18th in Atlantic City, New Jersey to stay at home mom, Victoria Marino, and quickly rising CEO, Jacob Ridgewood. For most of his childhood, Alan stayed in New Jersey, though they were constantly moving due to Jacob’s job keeping them on their feet. This didn’t give much time for the young Ridgewood to really make friends as he would rarely stay in the same school for more than a few months at a time. Despite this, Alan always considered his childhood rather happy. In his opinion, he was just making friends everywhere and was growing to be a quite social and charismatic child with a love for music and video games.

Around the age of fifteen, things started to finally settle down for Alan and the rest of the Ridgewood family. Jacob had finally gotten a more stable position in his construction company and they finally bought a house in Newark, New Jersey. Along the way, they also had a beautiful baby girl, Avena.

Finally able to be in a school for more than a couple of months, Alan finally started making some real friends, one of his closest being Caleb Henson who was one who never truly left his side.

Despite his accomplishments throughout the years, Alan could never seem to get the attention of his dad who really only saw him as a replacement for when he got too old to do everything on his own. Jacob simply wanted his son to get his head out of the clouds and start becoming a real man for the family. The result of this was constant business studies throughout highschool along with plenty of physical training and sports, none of which he truly had any interest in. This followed him all the way into highschool, where he finally met the rest of his friend group who showed him there was a lot more to his life than just pleasing his elders.

With the help and encouragement of his friends, Alan finally grew the guts to escape under his father’s tight grip on him and he started up a small band with his friends Caleb, Jeremy, Griffin, and Grey. Sure, he still helped out when his family needed it, but he also snuck out to go out and play with his band on the weekends, finding small gigs to play around town and even in a few places on the outskirts of other cities. This was his dream and he wasn’t going to let anyone hold him back, not even his parents.


Despite the fact that his father was determined for Alan to follow in his footsteps, college just wasn’t in the cards for the man who wanted the world and more. So instead, he continued to put all his effort towards his band after high school, doing absolutely everything he could to get the attention of record companies, trying to be more than just a hometown star. After a while it started to seem hopeless as they were only getting small gigs in a few surrounding cities. It eventually came to the point where the band was having to pay out of their own pockets instead of earning money from their music. Yet just as they were about to throw in the towel, a record company finally gave them a chance, changing their lives forever.


It didn’t take long before they were finally traveling and getting their music across the state, working hard to keep the small amount of fame they had finally gotten a grasp on. Luckily it didn’t stop there either. The band continued to grow until they were finally known across the country, selling albums and performing in some of the biggest venues they could find. Sadly, along with fame also came peer pressure for drugs, alcohol, and so much more. It didn’t take long before most of them were wrapped up in such things, Alan being one of the worst about it. Under the influence he was such a different person, becoming so much more selfish and angry over everything. This continued for over a year before Griffin ended up overdosing, causing them to clean up their act a little better. Sure it didn’t stop them from still having a good time and they still enjoyed drinking, but all of them finally swore off drugs, not wanting to ever lose each other over something like that.

Nowadays the guys are still trying to do their best and continue to stay on top of the charts. All of them still continue towards their separate goals, Alan’s being finding someone to share this life with. Sure, being a playboy was fun, but he wants to find the one person who will finally complete his life.
